Hello my name is Emily Ballerene and welcome to my page!! I am a 15 year old girl from a small town on the coast of Massachusetts. In June of 2017 me and 7 of my best friends will be walking the AVON 39 The Walk To End Breast Cancer. We will be doing this walk in honor of one of my friends mother, Ellen Nolan who beat cancer twice, in honor of Hilary Fantom, and in honor of all the woman fighting this terrible disease.
Every participant is required to raise at least $1,800 in order to walk, but I want to raise much more!! As a team we are required to raise at least $14,500 but being the young ambitious group that we are, our team is aiming to earn more and beat our goal!!
As a team of 8 15/16 year old girls, we will be the youngest team participating in this amazing event. Our team will be called "Young Guns" because we want to show everybody that no matter how old you are, you are never to young to make a difference in the world!! Being this young, it will be a bit of a challenge to raise so much money, but we know we can do it, and we could use your help too!!
